Possible Causes
Aging LCD/LED display, Moisture intrusion in panel, Loose topside connector, Failing low-voltage supply on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before disconnecting the topside panel.
- Step 1 – Inspect panel surface: Check for cracks, water under the overlay, or physical damage to the Nordic topside panel.
- Step 2 – Reseat connector: Disconnect and reconnect the topside cable at the control board to ensure a solid connection.
- Step 3 – Dry moisture: If condensation is visible under the panel overlay, gently dry the area and consider replacing the panel to prevent further damage.
- Step 4 – Test with another panel: If available, connect a known-good panel to determine whether the issue is with the panel or the control board.
- Step 5 – Replace as needed: Replace the topside control panel if the display is failing. If multiple panels show the same issue, the control pack’s low-voltage supply may be failing and require replacement.
