Possible Causes
Deteriorated jet gasket, Loose jet body nut, Cracked jet body, Improperly sealed suction fitting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and lower the water level below the leaking jet or fitting before disassembly.
- Step 1 – Confirm leak location: Dry the area and observe carefully to ensure the leak is originating from the jet or fitting, not above it.
- Step 2 – Access rear of shell: Remove the cabinet panel behind the leaking area to access the back of the jet body or fitting.
- Step 3 – Tighten retaining nut: Gently tighten the large plastic nut on the back of the jet body or suction fitting. Do not overtighten, as this can crack the body.
- Step 4 – Replace gasket: If tightening does not stop the leak, remove the jet body or fitting, clean the shell surface, and install a new gasket or apply a thin bead of spa-rated silicone sealant as specified by Nordic.
- Step 5 – Reassemble and test: Refill the spa above the repaired fitting and check for leaks before closing the cabinet.
