Display shows LOC or a lock icon; buttons on the topside control panel do not respond.

Safety first: No electrical work is required for this issue.

• Unlock sequence: On most Passion Spas topside panels, press and hold the designated lock/unlock button or a combination (often TEMP UP and TEMP DOWN together) for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears. Refer to your specific model’s user manual for the exact sequence.
• Power reset: If the unlock sequence fails, turn the GFCI breaker OFF for 30 seconds, then ON, and try the unlock sequence again.
• Check for moisture: If buttons are unresponsive even after LOC clears, inspect the topside panel for water intrusion or condensation under the overlay.

If the panel remains locked or unresponsive, the topside control panel may need replacement.
