Possible Causes
Seized Pump 2 motor, Loose or reversed wiring, Overloaded circuit, Failed pump relay
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before working on Pump 2.
- Check unions and valves: Ensure Pump 2’s suction and discharge valves are open and unions are not leaking air.
- Inspect wiring: Verify Pump 2 is plugged into the correct receptacle on the control pack and that the connector is secure.
- Test pump independently (advanced): A technician can bench-test the pump on a known-good supply to confirm if the motor runs.
If the pump is good but P2 remains, the control pack likely has a failed relay or driver circuit.
