Spa heats very slowly or cannot reach set temperature, especially in cold weather.

Safety first: Ensure water level is correct and all suctions are covered before running pumps.

• Check cover condition: Inspect the spa cover for waterlogging, tears, or poor seal. Replace if heavy or damaged, as this greatly increases heat loss.
• Verify circulation: Confirm the circulation pump runs as programmed and that water is flowing strongly through the heater return.
• Descale heater: If you have hard water, consider descaling the heater tube to improve heat transfer.
• Reduce heat loss: In very cold climates, add windbreaks around the spa and ensure cabinet panels are properly installed and insulated.
