Spa water is cloudy or milky even after filtration and chemical treatment.

Safety first: Do not use the spa if visibility is poor; water may harbor bacteria.

• Clean or replace filters: Rinse filters thoroughly and soak in a filter cleaner. Replace if more than 1–2 years old or if pleats are damaged.
• Shock the spa: Add an appropriate dose of spa shock to oxidize contaminants.
• Use clarifier: Add a spa clarifier to help small particles clump so the filter can capture them.
• Run filtration longer: Increase filtration cycle duration in the control settings to improve water turnover.

If cloudiness persists, drain and refill the spa, then rebalance water chemistry from scratch.
