How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI breaker before disconnecting the topside panel.
- Inspect panel surface: Look for cracks, lifted edges, or water under the overlay. Moisture can short the keypad.
- Check cable connection: Open the equipment bay and ensure the ribbon cable from the topside is firmly plugged into the control pack.
- Dry panel: If moisture is present, carefully dry the panel and surrounding area. Do not use high heat.
- Replace panel if needed: If buttons remain unreliable, replace the topside control panel with a Passion Spas-compatible unit.
If a new panel does not resolve the issue, the control pack keypad input circuit may be faulty.
