Possible Causes
Stuck or failed high-flow switch, Debris in plumbing restricting high-speed flow, Air in plumbing after refill, Misadjusted or partially closed slice valves
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the breaker before removing panels or touching internal components.
- Verify valves are open: Check all RivieraPool slice valves near the pump and heater. Ensure they are fully pulled up/open. A partially closed valve can trigger FLO2.
- Bleed air: After a refill, air pockets can cause false flow readings. Loosen the pump union slightly until water seeps out, then retighten. Restore power and run jets to purge air.
- Inspect for debris: Remove the filter cartridge and run the spa briefly (1–2 minutes) without the filter to see if the error clears. If it does, replace or deep-clean the filter.
- Check the high-flow switch: Locate the RivieraPool high-flow/pressure switch on or near the heater manifold. Inspect wiring for corrosion or loose connections. With power OFF, gently tap the switch body; if the error intermittently clears, the switch may be sticking and should be replaced.
- Persistent FLO2: If the error remains after these steps, the high-flow switch or associated wiring is likely faulty and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
