Possible Causes
Water temperature near freezing, Ambient temperature sensor detecting low temperature, Faulty sensor reading too low
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not shut off power to the spa in freezing weather; this can cause plumbing damage.
- Confirm actual water temperature: Use a separate thermometer to verify water temperature. If near freezing, ICE is functioning correctly.
- Keep cover on: Ensure the RivieraPool cover is in good condition and properly latched to retain heat.
- Check sensors: If ICE appears when water is warm, inspect the temperature sensor and any ambient/freeze sensor for damage or loose connections.
- Replace faulty sensor: Install a new RivieraPool temperature or freeze sensor if readings are inaccurate.
- Monitor operation: After sensor replacement, observe that ICE only appears in genuinely cold conditions.
