Possible Causes
Incorrect supply voltage, Loose connections at terminal block, Tripped GFCI breaker, Internal fuse blown on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Only work on electrical connections if you are qualified. Always turn off power at the main breaker before opening the control pack.
- Check GFCI: Locate the RivieraPool spa GFCI breaker and ensure it is fully reset. If it trips immediately, there may be a ground fault.
- Verify supply voltage: Using a multimeter, confirm that the correct voltage (typically 230–240V or 120V depending on model) is present at the spa's terminal block.
- Inspect wiring: Tighten any loose lugs at the control pack terminal block. Look for signs of overheating or discoloration.
- Check internal fuses: With power OFF, inspect the RivieraPool control board for replaceable fuses. Replace any blown fuses with the exact type and rating.
- Persistent PF: If PF remains after correcting power issues, the control board's power supply section may be damaged and require replacement.
