Possible Causes
Failed heater element, Heater relay not energizing, Incorrect heating mode (Economy/Sleep), Temperature set too low
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before testing heater circuits.
- Verify settings: Confirm that the RivieraPool spa is in Standard mode and that the set temperature is higher than the current water temperature.
- Check for heating indicator: Look for a heat icon or indicator on the control panel when the spa should be heating.
- Feel heater tube: After 15–20 minutes of heating demand, carefully feel the heater tube. It should be slightly warm. If it is cold, the heater may not be energizing.
- Test heater element: With power OFF and heater wires disconnected, measure resistance across the heater terminals. Replace the RivieraPool heater assembly if the element is open.
- Control board diagnosis: If the heater is good but never receives power, the heater relay or control board may be faulty and require replacement.
