Possible Causes

Dirty or clogged filter, Airlock in plumbing, Partially closed diverter valves, Worn or damaged pump impeller

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power before opening any plumbing connections.

  • Clean or remove filter: Take out the RivieraPool filter cartridge and rinse thoroughly. Test jet pressure briefly with the filter removed. If pressure improves, replace the filter.
  • Check diverter valves: Ensure any RivieraPool diverter valves are fully open to the desired jet zones.
  • Bleed air: Loosen pump unions slightly to release trapped air, then retighten.
  • Inspect impeller: If pressure remains low, remove the pump wet end and inspect the impeller for broken vanes or debris. Replace the RivieraPool pump impeller or wet end if damaged.
