Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the SaluSpa from the mains before touching any cables or opening covers. Never work on the spa while it is plugged in or when you are standing in water.
- Power reset: Unplug the spa for at least 10 minutes to fully discharge the electronics. Plug back in and try powering on again.
- Check control panel cable: Inspect the cable that connects the top control panel to the pump/heater unit. Make sure both ends are fully seated and the locking tabs (if present) are engaged. Look for pinched, cut, or crushed sections of the cable.
- Inspect connectors: With power unplugged, gently unplug and re-seat the control panel connector at the pump/heater housing. Ensure no pins are bent or corroded.
- Dry moisture: If the control panel or connector area is wet or has condensation, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry for several hours before reconnecting.
- Test again: Restore power and check if E01 clears. If the error persists, the main PCB or the control panel assembly may be defective and typically requires replacement as a complete unit.
Warning: Do not open the sealed electronics compartment of the pump/heater unit unless you are qualified; this can expose you to dangerous voltages and void the warranty.
