Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the spa from power before inspecting the cord or outlet. Do not use the spa if the cord is damaged.
- Direct connection: Plug the SaluSpa directly into a properly grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords, adapters, or power strips.
- Inspect power cord: Check the entire length of the SaluSpa power cord for cuts, abrasions, melted spots, or crushed sections. If any damage is found, discontinue use immediately.
- Check outlet and breaker: Verify that the outlet is not loose and that the circuit breaker is correctly rated and not shared with high-load appliances (heaters, microwaves, etc.).
- Test outlet voltage: If possible, use a multimeter to confirm correct voltage at the outlet while the spa is running. Significant drops indicate wiring or circuit issues.
- Persistent E08: If the power supply is confirmed good and E08 remains, the internal power supply/PCB in the pump/heater unit may be defective and require replacement.
Warning: Never attempt to repair a damaged molded GFCI plug or power cord yourself; these components must be replaced as a complete assembly.
