How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and avoid standing in pooled water near electrical components.
- Locate leak: Mark the water level and leave the spa for several hours. Inspect the outer wall and bottom for damp spots or drips.
- Soap test: Use a spray bottle with soapy water on suspected areas; bubbles will form where air or water escapes.
- Drain and dry: Drain the spa completely and dry the area around the leak.
- Patch liner: Use a SaluSpa-compatible PVC repair patch kit. Clean the area, apply adhesive, and press the patch firmly, following kit instructions.
- Cure and refill: Allow the patch to cure fully (usually 12–24 hours) before refilling and checking for leaks.
Warning: Do not place the spa directly on gravel, sharp decking screws, or rough concrete; always use a protective ground mat.
