Possible Causes
Moisture inside blower motor, Degraded blower insulation, Damaged blower wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the spa immediately after any trip. Do not continue to reset the breaker or GFCI.
- Drying period: Move the pump/heater unit to a dry, sheltered area and allow it to dry for 24–48 hours.
- Check for external leaks: Inspect hose connections and spa liner near the blower area for leaks that could drip into the blower housing.
- Retest: After drying, plug in and test filtration and heating first. Then briefly test bubbles. If the breaker trips again, the blower is likely faulty.
- Replace blower: Replace the pump/heater unit or blower module as per SaluSpa design.
Warning: Water inside the blower motor is a serious electrical hazard; do not attempt to open and dry the motor yourself.
