Possible Causes
Puncture in side wall, Leaking inflation valve, Seam separation in air chamber
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep electrical components away from soapy water used for leak detection.
- Check inflation: Use the SaluSpa pump to top up air pressure to the recommended level. Do not overinflate.
- Listen and feel: Move around the spa wall listening for hissing and feeling for air escaping.
- Soapy water test: Spray a mixture of water and dish soap on seams, valve, and suspected areas. Bubbles will form at leak points.
- Valve check: Ensure the inflation valve is tight. If it leaks, reseat or replace the valve core if the design allows.
- Patch leak: Mark the leak location, deflate the spa, and apply a PVC patch from a SaluSpa repair kit. Allow to cure fully before reinflating.
Warning: Do not use tire sealants or non-PVC adhesives; they can damage the liner.
