Display shows EC or ECON, spa heats only during filter cycles and may not maintain set temperature.

Note: EC/ECON is a mode setting, not a hardware fault.

• Change mode: Use the MODE or TEMP button sequence described in your Saratoga Spas manual to switch from ECON/EC to STANDARD or READY mode.
• Verify filter cycles: Ensure filter cycles are set appropriately so the spa has enough run time to heat if you choose to remain in economy mode.

If the spa will not exit EC mode, the control panel or board may need to be reset or replaced.
