Possible Causes
Dirty or undersized filter cartridge, Air lock in plumbing, Diverter valve partially closed, Debris in jet bodies or suction fittings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before removing jets or opening equipment bay.
- Clean filter: Remove and thoroughly clean or replace the Saratoga filter cartridge.
- Open diverter valves: Check any topside diverter knobs and ensure they are fully open toward the seats you want to use.
- Bleed air: Loosen pump unions slightly to release trapped air, then retighten.
- Clean jets: Many Saratoga jets can be twisted counterclockwise and pulled out. Rinse debris from the back of the jet and the jet body. Reinstall securely.
If pressure remains low, the pump impeller may be clogged or worn and should be inspected by a technician.
