How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before accessing the circulation pump.
- Confirm circulation pump presence: Many Saratoga models have a small dedicated circ pump. Locate it in the equipment bay.
- Listen for operation: During a filter cycle, listen for the hum of the circ pump. If silent, it may have failed.
- Bleed air: Loosen the union on the circ pump discharge to release air, then retighten.
- Check intake screen: Some models have a small screen or secondary filter feeding the circ pump. Clean any debris.
If the circ pump does not run with proper power present, replace it with a Saratoga-compatible circulation pump.
