Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Only qualified persons should open electrical panels. Always turn off the main breaker before tightening connections.
- Check GFCI: Locate the spa's GFCI breaker or outlet. Reset it by switching fully OFF then ON. If it trips immediately, there is a fault that needs diagnosis.
- Verify house breaker: Confirm the spa's dedicated breaker in the main panel is ON.
- Inspect control pack fuses: With power OFF, open the equipment bay and remove the control pack cover. Look for glass or blade fuses and check for continuity with a multimeter. Replace only with the same rating.
- Check incoming power: A licensed electrician or spa technician should verify correct voltage at the control pack terminals.
If fuses blow repeatedly or there is no low-voltage output from the control pack, the control board may need replacement.
