Topside control buttons are unresponsive or only some buttons work intermittently.

Safety: Turn off power before unplugging the topside panel.

• Inspect panel surface: Look for bubbles, cracks, or water under the keypad overlay. Moisture indicates failure.
• Check cable connection: In the equipment bay, reseat the topside ribbon cable on the control pack.
• Dry panel: If minor moisture is present, gently dry the area and allow time with the cover open. However, recurring issues usually require replacement.

Replace the topside control panel if buttons remain unreliable. If a new panel does not resolve the issue, the control board may be at fault.
