Possible Causes
Spa set to Economy or Sleep mode, Filtration cycles scheduled for limited times, User misinterpreting mode as error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No internal work is required.
Steps to adjust EC/ECO:
- Check mode setting: Use the topside control to view the current heating mode. If set to Economy or Sleep, change to Standard or Ready mode for continuous temperature maintenance.
- Review filtration schedule: Adjust filtration times so that heating can occur more frequently if desired.
- Monitor temperature: After changing modes, allow several hours for the spa to reach and maintain the new set temperature.
When to call a technician: If the spa will not exit EC/ECO mode or the display is unresponsive, the topside control or control pack may need service.
