Priming Mode / Pump Priming Routine
Display shows PRR or PR and pumps run in a sequence; limited control response

Possible Causes
Spa just powered up, Air in plumbing after refill, User misinterpreting priming mode as error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure all jets are submerged and slice valves are open before running pumps.
Steps during priming mode:
- Allow priming to complete: After power-up, Strong Spas often enter a priming cycle where pumps run sequentially. This is normal and not a fault.
- Bleed air if needed: If pumps are noisy or not moving water, loosen pump unions slightly to release trapped air, then retighten.
- Exit priming: Follow the user manual instructions (often pressing a specific button) to exit priming once water flow is established.
When to call a technician: If the spa remains stuck in priming mode and will not transition to normal operation, the control pack or keypad may need service.
