Possible Causes
User activated standby for cleaning, Control logic set to standby after certain operations, Keypad sequence accidentally triggered
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure no one is in the spa when changing modes.
Steps to exit SbY:
- Use keypad: Press the designated button (often JETS or TEMP) or follow the manual’s instructions to exit standby mode.
- Power cycle: If the spa will not exit standby, turn the GFCI breaker OFF for 30 seconds and back ON, then attempt to change modes again.
When to call a technician: If the spa remains stuck in SbY and controls are unresponsive, the topside or control pack may be faulty.
