Safety first: Turn off power before removing filters or opening pump unions.

Steps to improve jet flow:

• Clean or replace filters: Remove Strong Spas filters and rinse thoroughly. Replace if old or collapsed.
• Check diverter and air controls: Ensure diverter valves are fully open toward the desired seats and that air controls are adjusted for proper mix.
• Bleed the pump: Loosen the pump unions slightly to release trapped air, then retighten.
• Inspect jets: Remove individual jet inserts (if removable) and check for debris or scale buildup. Clean and reinstall.
• Check pump impeller: If flow remains weak, a technician can open the pump wet end to inspect for debris or a broken impeller.

When to call a technician: If the pump motor is noisy, overheating, or not reaching full speed, it may need professional replacement.
