Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and lower the water level below the leaking jets before attempting repairs.
Steps to repair jet leaks:
- Identify leaking jets: Fill the spa slightly above the suspected jets and watch from the equipment bay or underside for drips.
- Access jet backs: Remove side panels or insulation as needed to reach the back of the leaking jet bodies.
- Tighten retaining nut: Gently tighten the plastic retaining nut on the back of the jet body. Do not overtighten, as this can crack the body.
- Replace gasket: If tightening does not stop the leak, remove the jet body and replace the gasket or the entire jet body with Strong Spas-compatible parts.
When to call a technician: If access is difficult or multiple jets are leaking, professional service is advisable.
