Possible Causes
Failed air blower motor, Tripped thermal protector in blower, Water intrusion into blower housing, Blocked air intake or check valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before working on the blower.
- 1. Check runtime limit: Some Sundance models limit blower runtime to prevent overheating. Verify if it is simply timing out normally.
- 2. Inspect air intake: Ensure the blower air intake is not blocked by debris or insulation.
- 3. Check for water: Remove the blower and inspect for water inside the housing. If present, the check valve or plumbing may be faulty.
- 4. Listen for operation: When commanded ON, if the blower is silent and does not hum, the motor or its power supply may have failed.
- When to call a technician: Blower replacement and plumbing checks should be performed by a spa technician, especially if water intrusion is involved.
