Buttons on the control panel respond intermittently or activate the wrong function.

Safety first: Turn off power before disconnecting the control panel.

• 1. Clean panel surface: Wipe the panel with a damp cloth to remove lotions or contaminants that may interfere with button operation.
• 2. Inspect for cracks: Look for visible cracks or delamination of the keypad overlay.
• 3. Reseat cable: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable at the control board to ensure a good connection.
• 4. Test each button: After restoring power, test each button individually to see if behavior improves.
• When to call a technician: If mis-activation persists, the keypad assembly should be replaced with a Sundance-compatible topside control.
