How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before removing the topside panel or opening the control box.
- 1. Check for condensation: Inspect the topside panel for trapped moisture under the display window. If present, it may have damaged the panel.
- 2. Reseat ribbon cable: From inside the equipment bay, locate and gently unplug/replug the ribbon cable from the topside panel to the control board.
- 3. Power cycle: Restore power and see if the display returns to normal.
- 4. Inspect low-voltage output (for technicians): Measure the low-voltage supply from the control board to the panel according to the wiring diagram.
- When to call a technician: If the panel remains blank or flickers, the topside panel or control board may need replacement.
