How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI before working on the pump.
- Bleed air: Loosen the union on the circulation pump to release trapped air until water appears, then retighten.
- Check for vibration: Restore power briefly and touch the pump housing to feel for vibration. No vibration suggests a failed motor or no power.
- Inspect suction: Check the Sunrise Spas circulation suction fitting and skimmer for blockages.
- Replace pump: If the pump does not run and power to it is confirmed, replace the circulation pump with a compatible Sunrise Spas circ pump.
