How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI.
- Inspect Pump 2: Access Pump 2 in the Sunrise Spas equipment bay. Check for leaks around the wet end and for debris blocking the impeller.
- Check motor rotation: Attempt to spin the motor shaft by hand. If locked, the pump may need replacement.
- Verify wiring: Confirm that Pump 2 is wired to the correct terminals on the control pack and that connections are tight.
- Replace components: If the pump hums or trips the breaker when starting, replace the capacitor or the entire pump assembly as needed.
