Possible Causes
Mismatched sensor pair, Both temperature and high-limit sensors out of range, Wrong sensor type installed, Control board sensor circuit fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI before working inside the control pack.
- Confirm sensor types: Ensure both the temperature and high-limit sensors are the correct Sunrise Spas parts and are replaced as a matched pair if required by the control system.
- Inspect connectors: Unplug and replug both sensor connectors on the control board to ensure good contact.
- Check for damage: Look for pinched or chewed sensor wires along the plumbing and inside the cabinet.
- Board diagnosis: If SE persists with known-good sensors, the control board’s sensor circuit may be defective and the pack may need replacement.
