Possible Causes
Open or shorted temperature sensor, Corroded sensor connector at control board, Damaged sensor cable from heater manifold to pack, Water intrusion into sensor well
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI before accessing the control pack.
- Locate sensor: Find the temperature sensor threaded into the heater manifold on the Sunrise Spas equipment pack. Follow its cable to the control board.
- Inspect connections: Unplug the sensor connector from the board and check for corrosion, bent pins, or moisture. Dry gently and reconnect firmly.
- Check cable damage: Look along the sensor cable for cuts, pinch points, or rodent damage. Replace if damaged.
- Reset power: Restore power and see if Sn1 clears. If it returns, the sensor is likely defective and should be replaced with a compatible Sunrise Spas temperature sensor.
