Possible Causes
Failed ambient/cabinet temperature sensor, Damaged sensor wiring, Incorrect sensor type installed, Moisture in sensor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the GFCI.
- Identify sensor: Some Sunrise Spas models use an additional sensor for freeze protection or cabinet temperature. Locate it inside the equipment bay or attached to plumbing.
- Inspect for damage: Check the sensor body and cable for cracks, cuts, or signs of water ingress.
- Dry and reconnect: If moisture is present, dry the connector and surrounding area thoroughly, then reconnect firmly.
- Replace sensor: If Sn3 remains after reset, replace the auxiliary sensor with the correct Sunrise Spas part number.
