Possible Causes
Heater element partially failed or undersized, Low supply voltage, Economy/Sleep mode enabled, Poor insulation or damaged Sunrise Spas cover
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before opening the control pack.
- Check mode and setpoint: Ensure the spa is in Standard mode and the set temperature is above current water temperature.
- Inspect cover: Verify that the Sunrise Spas cover seals well and is not waterlogged. Replace if heavy or cracked.
- Measure voltage (advanced): Have an electrician confirm that the spa is receiving full rated voltage at the control pack.
- Test heater output: If water temperature rises only slightly over many hours, the heater element may be weak and should be tested and replaced.
