Possible Causes

Tripped GFCI breaker, Loose main power connections at control pack, Blown internal fuse on control board, Failed Sunrise Spas control pack

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Treat all wiring as live until verified otherwise. Turn off the main breaker before opening panels.

  • Check GFCI: Locate the spa’s GFCI breaker and ensure it is in the ON position. Reset if tripped. If it trips immediately, there may be a short.
  • Inspect disconnect: If there is an outdoor disconnect box, verify that it is on and connections are tight.
  • Open equipment bay: With power off, remove the front panel and check that the main power wires are securely attached to the control pack terminals.
  • Internal fuses: Many Sunrise Spas packs have one or more fuses on the board. Inspect and replace only with identical ratings if blown.
  • Persistent failure: If power is present at the pack but no display, the control pack may need replacement by a technician.
