Safety: No electrical work is required for this issue.

Step 1 – Try unlock sequence: On many Tuff Spas panels, press and hold the Temperature Up and Temperature Down buttons together for 3–5 seconds to unlock. If that does not work, try holding the Light button for several seconds.
Step 2 – Power cycle: Turn the GFCI breaker off for 30 seconds, then back on. Check if LOC clears.
Step 3 – Consult manual: Refer to your specific Tuff Spas owner’s manual for the exact lock/unlock button combination.

If the panel remains locked and buttons are unresponsive, the topside control panel may be faulty and require replacement.

Display shows LOC or a lock icon; buttons on the topside control panel do not respond.
