Possible Causes

Loose connections at GFCI breaker, Undersized or long power run to Tuff Spas, Nuisance tripping of GFCI, Internal control pack power supply issue

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Only work inside the main electrical panel or GFCI if you are qualified. Otherwise, call an electrician.

  • Step 1 – Check GFCI: Inspect the spa’s GFCI breaker. Reset it fully OFF then ON. Ensure it is not warm or buzzing.
  • Step 2 – Inspect spa power connections: With power off and locked out, have a qualified person check that all lugs in the spa’s control pack are tight and free of corrosion.
  • Step 3 – Monitor for recurrence: If PF appears frequently, voltage may be unstable or the control pack’s power supply may be failing.

Persistent power faults should be evaluated by a licensed electrician and spa technician.
