Possible Causes
Dirty or clogged Tuff Spas filter cartridge, Air lock in plumbing, Diverter valve mispositioned, Partially closed slice valves or shutoff valves
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before removing the filter or opening plumbing unions.
- Step 1 – Clean filter: Remove and thoroughly rinse the filter cartridge. Replace if old or damaged.
- Step 2 – Check diverter valves: Adjust any topside diverter valves to direct flow to the desired seats.
- Step 3 – Open all jets: Turn each jet face counterclockwise to fully open.
- Step 4 – Bleed air: If the spa was recently drained, bleed air from the pump unions.
If flow remains weak, the pump impeller may be worn or partially blocked and should be inspected.
