How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before servicing ozone or UV equipment.
- Step 1 – Verify indicator: Check if the ozone/UV indicator on the topside or control pack is supposed to be on continuously or only during filtration cycles.
- Step 2 – Inspect tubing: Ensure the ozone tubing is connected from the generator to the injector and not kinked or cracked.
- Step 3 – Replace consumables: If equipped with UV, replace the UV bulb according to Tuff Spas maintenance schedule.
Even with a failed sanitizer system, maintain proper chlorine/bromine levels manually until the component is repaired or replaced.
