Spa water foams excessively when jets are on.

Safety: Chemical handling requires gloves and eye protection. Follow all label directions.

• Step 1 – Test water: Check sanitizer, pH, and calcium hardness with a test kit.
• Step 2 – Shock spa: Add a non-chlorine shock or chlorine shock per product instructions to oxidize contaminants.
• Step 3 – Use foam reducer: Add a small amount of spa defoamer if needed (short-term fix).
• Step 4 – Clean or replace filter: Rinse the filter thoroughly; replace if more than 1–2 years old.

Severe or recurring foaming often indicates the need to drain, clean, and refill the Tuff Spas unit.
