Buttons on the topside control panel are unresponsive or trigger the wrong functions.

Safety first: Turn OFF power before removing or replacing the topside panel.

• Power cycle:
  • Turn OFF power for 1–2 minutes and then ON to clear temporary glitches.
• Inspect keypad surface:
  • Look for cracks, bubbles, or water under the overlay.
• Check connector:
  • Reseat the keypad ribbon cable at the control board.
• Replace keypad:
  • If specific buttons consistently fail or misbehave, replace the USSPA topside control panel.
