Possible Causes

How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power at the breaker. Do not run pumps with low water level or active leaks.
- Locate the leak source:
- Remove side panels to access the equipment bay.
- Use a flashlight to inspect around pumps, heater, and unions while the spa is filled.
- Tighten unions:
- Hand-tighten pump and heater unions; do not use excessive force.
- If leaking persists, drain below the union and inspect/replace the O-ring.
- Inspect valves and fittings:
- Check slice valves for leaks around stems and bodies.
- Replace leaking valves or seals as needed.
- Repair cracked plumbing:
- For small cracks, cut out the damaged section and glue in new PVC pipe and couplings using spa-rated PVC cement.
- Refill and test:
- Refill spa, restore power, and monitor for leaks over several hours.
