How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power at the breaker before disconnecting the topside panel.
- Inspect keypad cable:
- Access the underside of the topside panel and follow the ribbon cable to the control box.
- Check for pinched, cut, or corroded cable.
- Reseat connector:
- Unplug and replug the keypad connector on the control board.
- Check for moisture:
- Look for condensation or water under the topside overlay; if present, the panel likely needs replacement.
- Replace topside panel:
- Order the correct USSPA topside control and install according to manufacturer instructions.
- Control board check:
- If a new panel does not light, the low-voltage supply on the control board may be faulty and require board replacement.
