Possible Causes
Aged or cracked jet body gasket, Loose jet body retaining nut, Cracked jet body housing, Chemical damage to seals from improper water balance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power and lower water level below the leaking jets before disassembly.
- Identify leaking jets:
- Look for damp insulation or water trails behind the shell near specific jets.
- Access jet backs:
- Remove side panels and gently pull back insulation to expose jet bodies.
- Tighten retaining nuts:
- Use a suitable wrench to snug the jet body retaining nut from the back side; do not overtighten.
- Replace gaskets if needed:
- If tightening does not stop the leak, remove the jet body, clean mating surfaces, and install a new USSPA-compatible jet gasket.
- Check for cracks:
- If the jet body is cracked, replace the entire jet body assembly.
