LOC or lock symbol on display, buttons do not respond

Safety: No internal work is required for this issue.

• Unlock sequence: Refer to the Villeroy & Boch user manual; typically, pressing and holding specific buttons (e.g., Temp Up + Temp Down) for several seconds will unlock the panel.
• Power cycle: If the unlock sequence fails, turn power off at the breaker for 1–2 minutes, then restore power and try again.
• Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually to ensure none are physically stuck or damaged.

If the panel remains locked and unresponsive, the topside control panel may need replacement.
