Possible Causes

Failed air blower motor, Water intrusion into blower, Shorted blower wiring, Defective control board blower relay

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker. Do not operate a blower that has taken on water.

  • 1. Identify the device:
    • Press the blower/aux button on the topside panel to confirm which output triggers F6.
  • 2. Inspect blower assembly:
    • Locate the air blower in the equipment bay or nearby compartment.
    • Check for signs of water inside the blower housing or tubing.
    • If water is present, the blower must be dried or replaced; do not power it up.
  • 3. Check wiring and connections:
    • Ensure the blower plug is fully seated in the correct socket on the control pack.
    • Look for burned or melted connectors.
  • 4. Test with blower disconnected (qualified person):
    • With power OFF, unplug the blower from the control pack.
    • Restore power and see if F6 clears. If it does, the blower is likely defective and should be replaced.
    • If F6 persists, the control board’s blower circuit may be damaged.
  • 5. Replace components:
    • Install a Wellis‑compatible blower with the correct voltage and amperage.
    • If the board is faulty, have a technician replace the control pack.
