  • Check pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness.
  • Adjust to Wellis-recommended ranges.
• 2. Shock the spa:
  • Use a non-chlorine shock or chlorine shock per instructions to oxidize organics.
• 3. Use foam reducer (optional):
  • Apply a spa-approved defoamer as a temporary measure.
• 4. Rinse swimsuits:
  • Rinse bathing suits thoroughly in clean water without detergent before use.
• 5. Drain and refill if severe:
  • If foaming persists, drain, clean the shell, and refill with fresh water.
