How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before servicing the humidifier section.
- Check water level: Ensure the humidifier water tank is filled and properly seated.
- Clean transducer/wick: For ultrasonic models, gently clean the transducer disc with a soft cloth and white vinegar. For evaporative models, inspect and replace the wicks / filters if clogged or hardened.
- Descale water path: Remove mineral deposits from nozzles and channels using a vinegar solution, then rinse thoroughly.
- Check humidifier pump: If equipped, listen for the pump when humidifier mode is on. If silent, test and replace the humidifier pump as needed.
